300 Jahre Vielfalt – Narrenmesse in Radolfzell | 300 years of diversity – Carnival Revelers Mass in Radolfzell

Zum ersten Mal habe ich an einer Narrenmesse teilgenommen. Zurzeit bin ich zu meinem jährlichen Fitnessprogramm in Radolfzell am Bodensee. Hier wird die besondere schwäbisch-alemannische Fastnacht gefeiert. An manchen Orten gehört dazu auch eine Narrenmesse, eine römisch-katholische Heilige Messe mit vielen Elementen des fastnachtlichen Brauchtums.

I attended a Carnival Revelers‘ Mass for the first time. I am currently in Radolfzell on Lake Constance for my annual fitness program. This is where the special Swabian-Alemannic carnival is celebrated. Remembering PIKPA

Together with our partners from LESVOS Solidarity we visited the place of the former Camp PIKPA which was an independent, open refugee camp in Mytilini. It was a community-based space, built on the principles of solidarity, empowerment and active participation. It was closed by the local government in October 2020. Gestern haben wir die 20-jährige Kooperation zwischen dem Zentrum Oekumene und der Bundespolizei am Frankfurter Flughafen zur Förderung der Interkulturellen Kompetenz gefeiert.

Mit einem großen feierlichen Gottesdienst wurde heute in Torre Pellice die Synode der Waldenser und Methodisten in Italien eröffnet.
