On my way to Switzerland today, I drove part of the way parallel to the Way of St. James. This route leads from Speyer via Wissembourg and Strasbourg through Alsace and Burgundy via Cluny to Le Puy.
In 2018, I made a pilgrimage with colleagues along parts of this route from Speyer to Strasbourg. Since then, with the exception of the Corona years, we have walked another section of the route every year. In October, we will start this year’s pilgrimage just before Cluny.
Unfortunately, it will rain tomorrow, so I will take the shortest route through the Black Forest to Lake Constance.
