Snowstorm outside the airport of Toronto. After a wonderful evening with my old friend Andreas D’Souza and his wife Karen and a tasty Indian Meal I’m now waiting for the flight to Havanna. I know Andreas from his time as Director of the Henry Martyn Institute in Hyderabad and we had several programs with EKHN pastors in this institute.

More than 350 participants took part in the first conference of initiatives for a welcoming culture for refugees in EKHN. As Ecumenical Center we presented an exipition about the causes of flight and the support of EKHN for refugees on the island of Lesvos and in Thessaloniki and the so called Balkan Route.
