Back on the Way of St. James

For several years now, we have been walking sections of the Way of St. James from Speyer to Le Puy en Valey. This year, the route took us 120 km through Bourgogne.

In 6 sections from St. Jean de Losne through the beautiful vineyards of Bourgogne, a stretch along the Canal du Centre, through forests and over the plateau near Givry to the small village of Collonge. 6 days of pilgrimage together at your own tempo, time for theological discussions, personal exchange and times of silence. The highlights were the daily communion service with sermons by retired provost Michael Karg and in the evenings the rounds with good food and when the body comes to rest. Next year we want to continue our journey via Taizé and Cluny towards Le Puy.
