For the European ecumenical movement Trondheim is a well known place. 2003 the general assembly of the Conference of European Churches – CEC – took place in Trondheim. Today in the morning we had quite some time to walk through the city … … enjoying the different architecture of the old wooden houses of Bryggene and the modern city architecture near the Harbour.
Once it has been the Main center in the whole of Scandinavia for pilgrims and still today you can feel the spirit by entering the Nidarosdom – the largest sacral building in Scandinavia.
